First Cleats, First Tournament

Sigang's football club sent a team to the Education Cup 5-a-side Tournament (Grade 3 division), putting a positive, fighting spirit on the field. The roster had been training for less than a year — and still chose to test themselves against tougher, more experienced sides. That choice itself is worth celebrating. 本校足球社團學生代表學校參加教育盃 5 人制三年級組足球錦標賽，展現積極進取的運動精神。隊員接觸足球訓練未滿一年，仍勇於挑戰自我、踏上競技舞台，令人肯定。

Facing seasoned opponents, the children gave everything they had: full effort, team play, fight to the final whistle. The technique and tactics have room to grow, but the heart was already in place. This time we did not bring home a trophy — but we brought home real-match experience, which is a different kind of trophy and one a young programme needs first. 比賽中，面對經驗豐富的對手，球員們全力以赴、團結合作，雖在技術與戰術上仍有進步空間，但始終奮戰到底。此次雖未獲獎，卻累積了寶貴的實戰經驗，為未來成長奠定基礎。

Thanks to the coach for the patient, day-in-day-out guidance that shows in every short pass and every recovery run. We look forward to seeing the football club keep building from here.
