"Let's Build a House!"

To open up the world of work for our upper-grade students, Sigang spent the day at the Yuandou Career Exploration & Experience Center, taking the “Let's Build a House — Brick-laying” course in the civil-engineering and construction track. 為了讓學生深入了解職業試探教育，本校高年級同學今日參加原斗職業試探與體驗示範中心體驗土木與建築職群「蓋房子囉—砌磚」課程，透過實作體驗，近距離認識建築工程的基礎工法。

Teacher Chang Ching-fang led with care, swapping real bricks for child-safe miniatures. The children learned to lay rows, hold the level and the plumb, and stack with a stability that doesn't fall — and quickly discovered that easy-looking is not the same as easy. 課程中，張瀞方老師細心解說，指導同學以小磚塊代替真實磚材進行練習。從磚塊的排列、水平與垂直的拿捏，到穩定堆疊的技巧，每一個步驟都需要專注與耐心。看似簡單的動作，實際操作後才發現並不容易。

Beyond the basic technique, the students came away with a quiet new respect for how much expertise sits behind every trade. Every job, they realised, is built on a layer of skill and a layer of effort — and is worth acknowledging. 透過這次課程，同學們不僅學習到砌磚的基本技法，也體會到土木與建築相關工作的專業性與辛勞。大家深刻感受到，每一項職業背後都蘊含著專業知識與努力付出，值得被尊敬與肯定。

Career exploration at its best — learning by doing, and widening the picture of who a child might become. 本次職群課程讓學生在實作中學習，拓展對未來職涯的想像，也為校園職業教育增添豐富而有意義的一課。
