Bringing Music to the Veterans' Home

Today, students from the South Changhua District 10-School Arts-Deepening Alliance travelled to the local Veterans' Home for a performance with quiet meaning — a chance to give back to society through music, and to bring the energy of youth into the lives of the elders. The room was warm from the very first note. 今天南彰區藝術深耕十校聯盟學生前往榮民之家進行一場別具意義的音樂表演，以實際行動回饋社會，將青春的活力與關懷帶給長輩們，現場洋溢著溫馨與感動的氛圍。

The children had prepared a careful programme — old favourites and modern hits side by side. Familiar melodies pulled at memory, and the elders began to clap and hum along — a give-and-take across generations that needed no translation. 學生們精心準備多首經典歌曲與樂器演奏，曲目橫跨老歌與現代流行音樂，讓長輩們在熟悉的旋律中找回記憶，也感受到年輕世代的用心。活動開始後，輕快的旋律便吸引了長輩們的目光，隨著節奏拍手、輕聲哼唱，現場氣氛十分熱絡。

Sigang's fifth-graders represented our campus in the alliance. The hope: that respecting our elders stops being a slogan and becomes a thing children actually do, with skills they have worked to earn. 本校由五年級同學參加本次表演活動，希望藉此實踐回饋社會的理念，用自己的專長帶給長輩快樂，讓「關懷長者」不再只是口號，而是具體而真實的行動。

The afternoon closed with all ten schools joining for a full-ensemble performance of “Mysterious Madrid” and “Hearts in Bloom” — a perfect final chord. 活動尾聲，十校聯盟以〈馬德里不思議〉及〈心花開〉兩首曲子大合奏，為活動留下完美句點。
