It's that time again — the end-of-term Spelling Bee is back! Ding! One buzz of the bell, one word on the line.
As Teacher Chris read each English word and sentence clearly and steadily, students raced to write it down before flipping their answer boards. One small slip, and a speller was out — the tension in the room was electric.
133 competitors battled all the way down to a final 10 standing on stage.
Congratulations to the champion who made it through dozens of rounds, and to everyone who earned a spot in the top ten! For the students who were eliminated along the way, the tears in their eyes said it all — proof of how much they cared. But here's the good news: this year introduced a brand-new "Second Chance" award, picking a few of the most accurate spellers from among those eliminated for special recognition. Who will it go to? We can't wait to find out!
