Located at the heart of the township's town center, Shingang Elementary carries a long history. Founded in 1917 as a branch school of Homei Line Public School, it was renamed Shingang National School of Changhua County in 1950, and took its current name in 1959.
新港國小位於較為熱鬧的鄉鎮中心生活圈，校史悠長。設立於 1917 年，初始校名為和美線公學校埤仔墘分校，1950 年改名為彰化縣新港鄉新港國民學校，至 1959 年改為現今校名伸港鄉新港國民小學。
