Sunlight fell softly as we brought the Houliao children into the warm Fun-Study Centre for a day of art and aesthetics. The morning began lightly, with bodies moving to interactive Christmas music; then, through the warmth of handwork, the children finished delicate Christmas bookmarks and pastel coasters, learning to catch light and shadow in the gentle bleed of colour.
陽光溫柔灑落，我們帶著後寮孩子走進充滿暖意的遊學中心，展開一場藝文美感之旅。上午在聖誕音樂互動律動中輕盈啟動；緊接著透過手作的溫度，完成精緻的繽紛耶誕書籤與粉彩杯墊，在輕柔的色彩暈染中學會捕捉光影。

In the afternoon, under the gentle, expert guidance of teacher Wang Li, the children created "Reindeer World" acrylic-board paintings — this time mixing the grainy texture of eco quartz sand with flowing acrylic paint, so they could feel the layered beauty of combined media and build a three-dimensional reindeer world on a transparent panel. Warm thanks, too, to teacher Yong-mei, whose attentive company kept every step full of inspiration and order.
午后，在王莉老師專業且溫柔的指導下，孩子們進行細膩的「麋鹿世界」壓克力板畫創作。本次結合環保石英砂的顆粒質感與流動的壓克力顏料，讓孩子體驗媒材混合的層次美感，在透明畫板上創造立體獨特的麋鹿世界。也特別感謝詠媺老師的全程陪伴與細心指導，讓每個環節都充滿啟發與秩序。
The most moving moment came after class. The children picked up cloths to wipe the tables, washed the sink and set every tool neatly back in place. This "character first" philosophy is the loveliest mark a Houliao child carries — because we believe character will always be the warmest backdrop to talent.
最令人動容的，是課程結束後的畫面。孩子們拿起抹布擦拭桌面、清洗洗手台，並將所有工具歸位排列整齊。這項「品格優先」的教育哲學，是後寮孩子最美的印記——我們深信品格，永遠是才華最溫暖的底色。
