Principal Hu Su-Tzu trained in language education at National Taichung Teachers College and went on to earn a master's degree from the Department of Education at National Kaohsiung Normal University. She passed the Senior Civil Service Examination and completed the 151st elementary-school principal training programme at the National Academy for Educational Research.

Before returning to a school of her own, she spent years inside the Changhua County Education Department — as a staff officer, a school supervisor, and section head of both Social Education and Compulsory Education. That view of the whole county's schools now shapes how she leads Heren.

"Education is a hope built drop by drop," she writes. Running a school takes the collective wisdom of many hands. Her promise is a simple one: to give it everything, to keep deepening the work, and to pursue excellence — seeing what each child needs to learn, uncovering what each child might become, and building the best environment for them to discover what is wonderful and attend to what is good, so they grow the ability to read and think, express and cooperate, create and make, and use technology well — with a healthy body and a feel for the arts to carry it.
