From first signs to first aid 從辨識症狀到緊急處理，一步都不能少
Children's health and safety are always on our minds. To help teachers understand food allergies better, the school arranged a food allergy workshop led by a specialist from the Changhua Christian Children's Hospital.
The speaker began with the clinical signs of a food allergy: how fast a reaction can appear, what a rash or swelling looks like, and which symptoms mean a child needs help right away.
Teachers then practiced using an EpiPen step by step — how to hold it, where to inject, how long to wait, and why an ambulance is still needed afterward. The session closed with the stepwise food ladder, a careful way of reintroducing foods under a doctor's care.
Education is not only about learning in the classroom. It also lives in the small details of every school day — noticing what a child needs, and offering the right care at the right moment.
With ongoing training, our teachers gain one more piece of knowledge, one more degree of sensitivity, and one more way to keep every child safe.
Because a child's health is something we look after together.
孩子的健康與安全，一直是我們放在心上的重要課題。為了讓老師們更了解兒童過敏相關知識，學校安排「彰基兒醫食物過敏推廣」專題講座，透過專業分享與實務經驗交流，協助老師增進對兒童食物過敏的認識與照護知能。
講座從食物過敏的臨床表現談起：過敏反應可能在幾分鐘內出現，也可能延遲發生；疹子、腫脹等症狀各代表什麼，哪些狀況必須立刻處理。
接著是EpiPen 的實際操作練習——怎麼握、打在哪個部位、要停留多久，以及施打後為什麼一定要叫救護車。最後講師介紹「精準食物階梯治療」，說明如何在醫師照護下，循序漸進地讓孩子重新接觸食物。
教育不只是陪伴孩子學習，也包含在每一個日常細節中，細心留意孩子的需要，提供適切的協助與照顧。
透過持續研習與專業成長，讓老師們多一份知識、多一份敏感度，也多一份守護孩子的力量。
