Principal Chen Rong-Mao attended Suantou Elementary School and Liujia Junior High School in Liujiao Township, Chiayi County, then completed general studies at Provincial Chiayi Normal Junior College. He went on to earn a degree in Mathematics and Science Education from National Chiayi Teachers College, a degree in Japanese Language and Literature from Soochow University, a Master's degree from Dayeh University's Graduate Institute of Human Resource Management and Public Relations, and a Master's degree in School Administration from National Taichung University of Education.
陳榮茂校長畢業於嘉義縣六腳鄉蒜頭國民小學、六嘉國民中學，其後就讀省立嘉義師範專科學校普通科。歷年並完成國立嘉義師範學院數理教育學系、東吳大學日文系、大葉大學人力資源暨公共關係研究所（碩士）、國立台中教育大學學校行政碩士班等學業。
His career began in the classroom, teaching for ten years at Mingsheng Elementary School. He went on to serve as Teacher and Chief of the Health/Data Section, and later Teacher and Director of Student Affairs, at Yuanlin Elementary School, as Teacher and Director of General Affairs at Dashin Elementary School, as a Curriculum Supervisor at the Changhua County Government Education Department, and as Director of General Affairs and Director of Academic Affairs at Luocuo Elementary School — before moving into school leadership.
校長生涯始於明聖國小教師，任教十年；其後歷任員林國小教師兼衛生組長／資訊組長、教師兼訓導主任，大新國小教師兼總務主任，並曾任彰化縣政府教育處課程督學，以及羅厝國小總務主任、教導主任，而後轉任學校行政首長。
He went on to serve as principal of Fude Elementary School (2003–2010), Tianwei Elementary School (2010–2016), and Desing Elementary School (2016–2020) — all, like Fushing, in Changhua County. He arrived at Fushing Elementary School on August 1, 2020, where he continues to serve as principal today.
其後歷任福德國小校長（92年8月到職，共7.5年）、田尾國小校長（99年8月到職，共6年）、德興國小校長（105年8月到職，共4年）——皆與福興同屬彰化縣。民國109年8月1日到福興國民小學擔任校長，服務至今。
