Founded in 1923, Fushing Elementary School is a historic and vibrant place for young learners. Set on a spacious 2.6-hectare campus in a designated agricultural zone, the school is home to towering century-old trees and a wide range of sports facilities — from the moment you step onto campus, a PU running track and open field stretch out before you, and greenery fills every view.
福興國小創立於民國12年4月1日，至今已有百年歷史。本校位於特定農業區，占地約2.6公頃，校園十分遼闊，擁有許多參天的老樹和各式的運動球場。一入校園，放眼所及就是PU跑道和寬廣的操場，滿眼的綠意更增添校園的開闊氣勢。
Though set in the countryside, Fushing keeps pace with the times: fully E-enabled classrooms and fast fiber-optic networks equip every student with the tools to learn for the future.
學校擁有完善的設施和各項新穎的教學設備。雖坐落於鄉村，卻有著全新的E化設備和快速的光纖網路，希望能以先進的設備培育未來的學生。
Clubs and interests flourish here — badminton and roller-skating alongside dance, painting, ocarina, and battle-drum ensembles, open to any student with the interest to join. The battle-drum team placed third countywide in the 2021 (110學年度) county music competition, and roller-skating students consistently place well in competition. Reading is prized just as highly, with regular activities encouraging students to read widely beyond the textbook.
本校教學豐富，社團多元，除了辦理羽球和滑輪等體育性質社團，還辦理舞蹈、繪畫等藝文社團，以及陶笛、戰鼓等特色社團，只要學生有興趣，人人都可以參加。戰鼓隊在110學年度全縣音樂比賽獲得優等第三名的佳績，在滑輪方面，學生參加相關競賽也都獲得很好的成績。本校也非常重視閱讀活動的推展，鼓勵學生能多多閱讀課外讀物，並辦理閱讀相關活動，學生在閱讀方面也都有不錯的表現。
Character comes first at Fushing. Knowledge matters, but so do everyday manners and good habits — students greet teachers and visitors with a warm "老師好" or "客人好" as a matter of course, because courtesy, the foundation of all education, is what lets children learn well and get along with one another.
本校也特別重視學生的生活教育與品德教育，知識的學習固然重要，但是良好生活習慣與群性的養成也是非常重要的。經過老師的教導，我們的學生都是很有禮貌的，在校園中不時可以聽到「老師好」、「客人好」，因為學生的禮貌已內化成為生活中的習慣——禮貌為一切生活教育之本，有禮貌的學生才能顯現出質樸與進取，才能與同儕和諧相處，才能做有效的學習。
