Summer Learning Camp Sets Off

On July 14, Fushing's little adventurers set off to explore two of Changhua's most popular local attractions — Taiwan Rice Castle and Sihu Sugar Factory!

7/14夏日樂學營隊出發大解密，帶著福興國小的小小冒險王們，一起走訪了彰化在地的超人氣景點——台灣穀堡與溪湖糖廠！

Stop One: Taiwan Rice Castle 🌾 — the moment students walked in, their eyes lit up! Through a lively tour, they discovered how the rice they eat every day travels from the paddy field to the dinner table, and tried out a range of hands-on exhibits.

第一站：台灣穀堡🌾｜小小農夫的米食大解密。一走進台灣穀堡，孩子們的眼睛都亮了！透過生動有趣的導覽，大家不僅認識了天天吃的「米飯」是怎麼從稻田走上餐桌，還體驗了豐富的互動設施。

Hands-on learning: the children felt the texture of rice grains and listened closely to the effort behind every grain — truly coming to understand that "every grain is the fruit of hard work."

動手學體驗：小朋友們親自感受稻穀的觸感，認真聆聽每一粒米背後的汗水與智慧，真的體會到「粒粒皆辛苦」的真諦。

Stop Two: Sihu Sugar Factory 🚂 — the group then moved on to this historic site. Because of the summer heat, they skipped a ride on the factory's famous narrow-gauge train and instead admired a retired locomotive on display in the exhibition hall.

第二站：溪湖糖廠🚂。接著我們轉往充滿歷史氣息的溪湖糖廠，因天氣太熱沒搭最具特色的五分車，只能觀賞陳列室裡的火車懷舊一下。

And of course, no summer visit is complete without the factory's signature traditional popsicle — its cool, sweet taste instantly melted away the summer heat!

夏日必備消暑聖品：參觀完古老的製糖工廠後，當然要來一支糖廠特製的傳統冰棒，冰涼甜蜜的滋味，瞬間消散了夏日的暑氣！
