Better to Travel Ten Thousand Miles

"It is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books!" The Slow-Flying Angels Companion Camp reached its most anticipated day — Day 3. Hand in hand, we stepped outside the classroom, into the wind and the waves, for a day of wonder and discovery.

讀萬卷書不如行萬里路！陪伴營來到了最令人期待的第三天，今天我們大手牽小手，一起走出校園，迎著風、踏著浪，開啟了一場充滿驚奇與知性的戶外教育大冒險！

In the morning, the group arrived at the mysterious and alluring Taichung Aquarium. The moment they stepped inside, the children were captivated by the giant viewing windows — colorful tropical fish, a graceful great white shark, and adorable marine creatures swam right before their eyes.

上午我們浩浩蕩蕩地來到了充滿神祕海洋魅力的「台中海洋館」。一踏進館內，孩子們立刻被巨大的玻璃觀景窗給深深吸引，五彩繽紛的熱帶魚、優游的大白鯊還有可愛的海洋生物在眼前游過，孩子們興奮地貼在玻璃前，眼睛閃閃發亮，像是探索未知世界的探險家。

With patient guidance from the docents, the children not only learned about rich marine ecosystems but also came to understand the importance of protecting the ocean environment.

在解說員的細心引導下，大家不僅認識了豐富的海洋生態，更體會到保護海洋環境的重要。

In the afternoon, with a gentle sea breeze, the group visited Gaomei Wetlands — often called a must-see spot in a lifetime! The endless wetland scenery and the striking wind turbines in the distance drew gasps of delight from the children.

到了下午，我們迎著和煦的海風，來到了被譽為一生必遊一次的浪漫景點——「高美濕地」！一望無際的濕地風光與遠處壯觀的風力發電風車，讓孩子們忍不住驚呼連連。

Walking the boardwalk in light, easy clothing, they searched for fiddler crabs and mudskippers along the way — each discovery met with pure, joyful laughter, leaving behind precious footprints in nature's most beautiful classroom.

大家換上輕便的裝扮，走在木棧道上，一邊觀察一邊尋找招潮蟹與彈塗魚的蹤跡，每一次發現都伴隨著孩子們純真快樂的笑聲，這片大自然最美的教室，留下了我們最珍貴的足跡。

From Day 1's campus experience, to Day 2's hands-on baking, to Day 3's embrace of nature — watching the students grow from shy to smiling, brave enough to take each new step, is the greatest gift of all. Heartfelt thanks to the volunteers and teachers who cared for and accompanied the children through these three days. The camp may have paused for now, but our hearts, walking beside these angels, never take a break — we look forward to next time, hand in hand, discovering even more beautiful scenery together!

從第一天的校園體驗、第二天的手作烘焙，到第三天的擁抱自然，看著同學們從羞怯到綻放笑容，並能勇敢邁出步伐，這份成長與進步是最棒的禮物。由衷感謝這三天悉心照顧、全程陪伴的志工、老師們，因為有你們的愛與支持，才能成就這趟完美的旅程。營隊雖然暫告一段落，但我們陪伴天使們飛翔的心永遠不放假，期待下一次，我們再一起手牽手，看更多美麗的風景！
