Our school hosted a parenting workshop featuring counselor Wu Tzu-Hsien, who spoke on "Parents Without Anger?! Positive Discipline and Parent-Child Interaction." Her talk left parents with new ways of thinking — and new strength.
Parents often get angry out of love and worry, but when emotions run high, the distance between parent and child often grows too. Children don't necessarily change because they're scolded — but repeated criticism can cost them their confidence and their willingness to communicate.
When parents can steady their own emotions first, children slowly learn to manage their own. When a home is full of understanding and respect, children can grow up secure, responsible, and ready to face the world — rooted in love.
May every family find more understanding, warmth, and laughter.
