A Summer of Camps: Ten Universities, and Five Weeks of Fun

This year’s university camp was special: a team from ten universities across central Taiwan, coordinated by Providence University. Nearly fifty Yongfeng children took part — a big turnout — and over three days they got along wonderfully with the big brothers and sisters.

今年的大專營隊很特別，是由中區十所大學組成的團隊，並由靜宜大學統籌。本校參與學生將近 50 人，相當踴躍，在 3 天營隊中與大哥哥大姊姊相處融洽。

Warm-up dances, land games, station challenges and small-team missions filled the campus with laughter and youthful energy. The children learned all kinds of knowledge and skills — and if a typhoon had not got in the way, there would have been another half-day together.

暖身操、大地遊戲、關卡挑戰、小隊任務，處處充滿笑聲，校園中散發青春活力。孩子們學到多元知識與技能；若不是颱風來攪局，還有半天的課程可以相處互動呢。

Alongside it ran the school’s own five-week summer program, joined by 41 students. Whole-day classes gave the children room to extend their learning and develop many talents — homework help, plus English, science, reading and writing, ocarina, movement, table tennis and tennis — a happy, well-filled summer, and good memories to keep.

同時，學校也自辦五週的育樂營，共有 41 名學生參加。整天課程讓學生延伸學習、發展多元技能：除了作業指導，還規劃英語、科學、閱讀寫作、陶笛、肢體律動、桌球、網球等豐富課程，讓孩子在充實又歡樂的氛圍中度過暑假，留下美好的夏日回憶。
