The last school day of the year, and four farewells.
Today marked the final school day of the 114th school year, and at the closing ceremony, Wenkai gathered with grateful and bittersweet hearts to honor four beloved teachers stepping into retirement.
Each of them had spent years walking alongside our students — guiding their growth and watching over the classroom. Today, we paid our deepest respect to their years in education:
Teacher Lin Ling-yuan · 31 years at Wenkai
Teacher Hong Chia-lung · 26 years at Wenkai
Teacher Chen Jen-chi · 7 years at Wenkai
Teacher Huang Wen-hui · 3 years at Wenkai
Students gathered to witness this meaningful moment, coming to understand that the teachers behind every day's warm greeting, patient lesson, and gentle care were about to begin a brand-new chapter of their lives.
We are grateful for the years these four teachers gave to education, quietly cultivating countless seeds of hope at Wenkai. With love and professionalism, they nurtured class after class of students, sending them out into the world carrying kindness, ability, and dreams — and their own dedication has already blossomed across many lives, far beyond our campus.
A gift with a special meaning.
Our special thanks go to the Parents' Association and school advisors, who prepared bronze sculpture keepsakes symbolizing "may all your wishes come true," carrying heartfelt respect and blessings. Colleagues, too, offered sincere gifts and wishes, filling the farewell with warmth and emotion.
Not a goodbye, but a new beginning.
The cameras captured smile after precious smile, and gathered a lifetime of memories. Retirement is not a farewell — it is the start of another wonderful chapter.
