Welcome to Wanlai Elementary School in Beidou Township, Changhua County. Our campus sits just a short walk from the town center and looks out toward the Beidou riverside park — a friendly, green place where children love to read, sing, play, and learn about the wider world.
歡迎來到位於彰化縣北斗鎮的萬來國小。校園距離鎮中心不遠，南面與北斗河濱公園相望——這是一個友善、綠意盎然的地方，孩子們在這裡喜愛閱讀、歌唱、遊戲，並認識更寬廣的世界。
Wanlai began in 1974 as a branch campus, and became an independent school in 1982. Our name honors Mr. Yang Wanlai, an overseas-Chinese benefactor in Japan who donated land and funds to build the school — a story of generosity that our children still carry today.
萬來於 1974 年設為分校，1982 年獨立設校。校名紀念旅日華僑楊萬來先生——他捐地捐資協助建校，這份慷慨的故事，至今仍是萬來孩子的驕傲。
The moon lute (月琴) is a round, two-stringed Taiwanese instrument — the heart of our folk-music club. Children learn to play and sing old Taiwanese songs, building a love for their mother tongue along the way. 月琴是一種圓身雙絃的台灣傳統樂器，也是萬來音樂社團的核心。孩子們學習彈奏與吟唱閩南語歌謠，在樂聲中愛上自己的母語。
Our young players don't just perform at school — they bring their music to community care centers, temple fairs, and town festivals across Beidou, sharing warmth with their neighbors. 小小演奏家不只在校內表演——他們把樂音帶到社區關懷據點、廟會與北斗的地方節慶，將溫暖分享給鄉里。
