Welcome to Tachu Elementary School. Since 2020, it has been my honor to lead a school with more than a hundred years of history — a school that has shaped generations of children here at the foot of Bagua Mountain.
歡迎來到大竹國小。自民國 109 年（2020）起，我有幸帶領這所擁有百年歷史的學校——在八卦山下，它形塑了一代又一代孩子的成長。
A century-old school carries something precious: roots. Tachu began in 1916 and went on to open the branch campuses that became several of the schools around us today. That history reminds us that a small school can give rise to big things — and that every child who walks through our gate is part of a story far larger than a single year.
百年老校，最珍貴的是「根」。大竹始於 1916 年，後來設立的分校，長成了今日我們身邊的好幾所學校。這段歷史提醒我們：一所小學，也能孕育出大格局；每一個走進校門的孩子，都是一個遠比一個學年更長的故事的一部分。
At Tachu we believe learning should reach beyond the textbook. Our students plant and harvest rice in the school garden, care for the environment, read widely, and perform with pride in the flower-drum baton team. And through our partnership with My Culture Connect, English is becoming part of everyday school life — not just a subject, but a living language our children hear, speak, and enjoy.
在大竹，我們相信學習應該超越課本。孩子們在校園菜園裡種稻、割稻，愛護環境、廣泛閱讀，也在花鼓棒隊裡自信演出。透過與人師教育協會的合作，英語正逐漸成為校園日常的一部分——不只是一門科目，而是孩子們聽得到、說得出、也樂在其中的活語言。
My hope is simple: that every Tachu child grows up kind, curious, and confident — and proud to belong to this hundred-year school.
我的期盼很單純：願每一位大竹的孩子，都能善良、好奇、有自信地長大，也以身為這所百年學校的一員為榮。

Elementary education lays the foundation for lifelong learning. At our school, students are at the heart of everything we do. Every lesson, activity, and decision is made with their growth and well-being in mind. My goal is to inspire teachers to teach with love, creating an environment where children feel supported, valued, and eager to learn.
國民小學教育是基礎教育，在傳承、分享、扶持與協助的過程裡，學生是教育主體，學校的教育行為都是為學生而存在，我將盡全力激勵老師秉持教育愛，實施愛的教育，讓可愛的小朋友在「被愛」的環境中學習、成長。
I believe in nurturing each student's unique talents, interests, and needs, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to develop at their own pace. I also encourage teachers to foster engaging and inclusive classrooms while working closely with parents to build a joyful and enriching learning community.
我將著重學生的多元智慧之發展，能力、興趣、需求，使每一位學生均能在適合其發展條件下，擁有同等機會，充分發展自我。同時，鼓勵老師用心經營班級，和家長共築一個優質的快樂學園。

Every student deserves an education that suits their strengths. Guided by Gardner's Multiple Intelligences and holistic education, we create a respectful learning environment where every student is nurtured as a talent worth cultivating — a school every child can call home.
讓每一位學生適性發展，依據 Gardner 的多元智慧及全人教育理念，著重人本主義精神，讓每一個學生在充滿被尊重的環境中學習；把每一位學生當作人才來培育，讓學生喜歡學習，將學校當成自己的家。
A school is a place built around teaching. We respect every teacher's professionalism, build a harmonious and professional-oriented environment, and provide the resources for action research — so Tachu becomes a school students love to attend and teachers feel at ease to teach in.
學校是以教學為主體的地方，尊重每一位教師的專業，建立和諧、專業導向的教學環境；充分改善教學環境及設備，提供教師進行行動研究的資源，務期讓學校成為學生喜歡上學、老師安心教學的好地方。
Through action leadership and two-way, participatory administration, we pursue school-based professional growth and curriculum development — building the organization's capacity for innovation, and shaping Tachu into a lasting "cultural home."
進行行動領導，強化雙向溝通及參與式的行政原則，進行學校本位的專業成長模式及課程發展模式，建全組織之創新改革能力，達成學校共同的願景，建立學校為「文化中心」的樂園。
We strengthen communication between offices, listen to teachers, students, and parents, and shape a warm, caring, democratic culture — encouraging everyone to take part in school affairs and to help build the school's own character together.
增進處室之間溝通協調的能力、傾聽師生及家長意見，塑造溫馨、關懷、民主、人性的組織文化；鼓勵師生、社區和家長積極參與校務及活動，共同建立及發展學校特色。
Students are our "customers," and parents are our partners — key companions on every child's educational journey. We encourage parents to invest in their children's growth and take part in shaping school affairs, so that with everyone's support, the school flourishes and children's futures grow brighter.
學生是我們的「顧客」，家長是我們的「合伙人」，也是孩子教育旅途中的重要伙伴，鼓勵家長投入孩子的學習與成長，參與校務的規劃與發展，結合各項人力、物力的支援，學校教育發展必能蒸蒸日上，孩子的未來也將更為燦爛。
"School becomes community, community becomes school" — through community identity, shared resources, and local-culture teaching, we widen students' learning space, open the campus to neighbors, and turn the school into a true cultural stronghold of the community.
「學校社區化、社區學校化」是政策亦是趨勢，透過社區認同，結合社區力量，利用社區資源，發展具地方特色的鄉土教學，拓展學生學習空間；開放學校場地，積極辦理社區教育活動，使學校成為社區文化堡壘。
