Principal Wu Wen-Hui's early education spanned Kaohsiung County, at Jhaosiang Elementary School, Gangshan Junior High School, and Zuoying Senior High School. He went on to study in the Physical Education Division of the Elementary Education Department at National Taipei Teachers College, and later completed a Master's degree at the Graduate Institute of Physical Education, National Taipei University of Education.
吳文輝校長的求學歷程橫跨高雄，畢業於高雄縣兆湘國小、岡山國中與高雄市左營高中，其後就讀國立台北師範學院初等教育系體育組，並於國立台北教育大學體育教學研究所取得碩士學位。
His teaching career began in 1994 with a year as an intern homeroom teacher at Jioufen Elementary School in New Taipei's Ruifang District. He went on to teach at Fenyuan Elementary School (1995–1999) and Darong Elementary School (1999–2002) in Changhua County, then served as Student Affairs Section Chief at Duona Elementary School in Kaohsiung's Maolin District (2002–2004). From 2004 to 2010, he served six years as Director of General Affairs at Sinjhuang Elementary School — the very school he now leads — before moving on to serve as a Curriculum Supervisor at the Changhua County Education Department.
吳校長的教職生涯始於 1994 年，於新北市瑞芳區九份國小實習並擔任級任教師一年；其後歷任彰化縣芬園國小（1995–1999）與大榮國小（1999–2002）級任教師，並於高雄縣茂林鄉多納國小擔任訓導組長（2002–2004）。2004 至 2010 年，他在新庄國小擔任總務主任六年——正是他今日執掌的學校——隨後轉任彰化縣政府教育處課程督學。
He was appointed principal of Houliao Elementary School in Fangyuan Township in 2011, then served seven and a half years as principal of Guanyu Elementary School in Fusing Township from 2014, before returning to Sinjhuang Elementary School as principal in August 2021.
2011 年，吳校長派任芳苑鄉後寮國小校長；2014 年起接任福興鄉管嶼國小校長七年半；並於 2021 年 8 月回任新庄國小校長，重新回到他曾服務六年的校園。
