Strings Take Flight

A bow sweeps across the strings, carrying a dream forward; each note writes down a moment of honor.

Over summer break, while many enjoyed a slower pace, the students of Loojing Elementary's String Ensemble kept practicing hard. Carrying the fruits of their daily effort, they competed in the 2026 Mayor's Cup String and Flute Ensemble Competition — showing what they've built through beautiful music, and bringing wonderful news back to Loojing!

The results were outstanding — congratulations to all our winners!

Every award is proof of the children's hard practice; every beautiful note is the result of focus and persistence built up over time.

String music isn't only about performing — it's a lesson in teamwork. Through ensemble playing again and again, students learn to listen; through coordinating with one another, they learn to collaborate; and on stage, they learn to show themselves with courage.

Special thanks to the teachers who devoted themselves to coaching the ensemble — from daily practice to competition preparation, guiding with care and patience, and walking with the children step by step so every melody could shine even brighter. Thanks too to the parents for their support and companionship along the way — because school, teachers, and parents together built the warmest support behind these children, they could chase their musical dreams without worry.

Effort never misses its moment; brilliance will always find its voice. Congratulations to all our little award-winning musicians — you are truly amazing!
