As a principal, I hold fast to my love of education — advancing teachers' innovation in the classroom and supporting their professional growth. I lead by example, offering real, concrete help so that teachers can fully carry out their work and help students learn better.
玟玟擔任校長職務，將秉持對教育的熱愛，推動教師教學革新，提昇教師專業發展與成長；並以身作則，化實際行動及支持協助，服務教師全面落實教育工作，以提升學生學習成效。
One of a principal's core leadership tasks is helping teachers improve their teaching — building exemplary practices and raising instructional quality. I hold myself to the standard of a lead teacher. My own research specialty is qualitative research, which I bring together with classroom practice and theory for the greatest effect, often combining it with action research — hoping to offer a positive model that encourages teachers on the ground to pursue their own professional growth.
校長領導核心任務之一，即在協助教師改進教學，建構典範學習，提升教學成效，並且以成為「首席教師」的角色自許。個人教學研究專長為「質性研究」，以教學實務與教學理論作結合，使其發揮較大的效益，嘗試結合行動研究，藉此希冀提供良性的示範，帶動現場教師主動發展專業的可能性。
I have served as an elementary school principal since February 2012. Beyond the tasks, visits, and evaluations assigned by the Ministry of Education and the county government — or launched on my own initiative — I have also seen through to completion projects like campus demolition and rebuilding, new construction, structural reinforcement, new school gates and guardhouses, upgraded library facilities, and full campus redesigns. My thanks go to the Ministry's education funding, the design and supervision teams, and the construction contractors for their care; to the faculty and staff at each school for weathering hard times together; and to the community and parents for their understanding, which has helped keep students and staff safe on campus.
玟玟自101年2月始擔任國小校長，無論是教育部、縣府計畫亦或是自發性活動，承辦上級長官交辦業務、訪視、評鑑等之外，校舍拆除重建、新建、補強、校門或守衛室完成、圖書室(館)設施設備更新(共讀站、書福悅讀)、校園整體規劃改建等，圓滿完成。感謝教育部國教署、縣府經費補助、設計監造單位及施工廠商的用心，感謝歷任學校教職員工共體時艱，並感謝社區人士和家長的體諒，以保障校園師生安全。
Throughout my time as principal, I have also worked hard to advance reading education, English education, and international education — leading schools designated for the Ministry's Digital-Assisted Subject Reading program and English Teaching Innovation program, earning ISA certification, and bringing in ETA co-teachers and FET foreign English teachers. I have spared no effort in creating diverse opportunities for students, investing considerable manpower and funding. Beyond years of participation in the Ministry's pilot programs, we have continued to bring in FET teachers, making real progress in both stretching our strongest English learners and supporting those who need extra help — and we have kept applying for the Ministry's library reading-promotion teacher program, hoping our students grow into lifelong readers who cherish the effort their teachers put into fostering that love of reading.
玟玟在校長任內亦致力推動「閱讀教育」、「英語教育」及「國際教育」，為教育部數位輔助學科閱讀計畫辦理學校、教育部英語教學創新方案辦理學校、ISA認證學校、引進ETA協同教師及FET外籍英語教師辦理學校。推動學生多元活動不遺餘力，投入相當多的人力及經費，英語教育除了參加教育部多年「前導計畫」，持續引進FET外籍師資，無論是英語教育的拔尖與扶弱皆有長足的進步；另持續申辦教育部圖書館閱讀推動教師計畫，希望學生成為終身的閱讀人，並珍惜師長辛勤推動的用心。
Environmental education and a sustainable campus have mattered greatly to me throughout my career — earning U.S.–Taiwan Eco-Schools Bronze, Silver, and eventually Green Flag certification, along with Changhua County's Sailing, Setting-Sail, and Piloting School certifications in reading education, international education, the arts, environmental education, and health promotion. I have also worked to create more opportunities and platforms for children through diverse, student-centered clubs and competitions, bringing honor to both the county and the school. I remain deeply grateful for the dedication of our teachers and the hard work of our students.
環境教育及永續校園本人任內十分重視，曾獲臺美生態學校認證銅牌、銀牌及綠旗認證殊榮；亦通過彰化縣政府閱讀教育、國際教育、藝術領域、環境教育、健康促進等揚帆、啟航及領航學校認證。另藉由多元化適性的社團活動及競賽，積極為孩子們創造更多機會與舞台，為縣為校爭光，感恩師長的付出和學生的辛勤練習，本人感茲念茲。
"Choose one task, devote a life, benefit all" is how I describe my calling in education. Serving as principal means leading by example, always weighing what is best for the school and its students, and remaining grateful to everyone — people, moments, and circumstances — who has helped the school along the way. I try to fulfill the role of principal to the very best of my ability, always carrying a grateful heart: grateful for the guidance of the leaders above me and the care of my colleagues, and grateful for my family's support and encouragement, which lets me give everything I have on this path.
「擇一事，做一生，惠眾生」是玟玟對於教育志業的註解，擔任校長唯有以身作則，為學校、為學生利益做最大的考量，感恩成全學校人、事、物的貴人們。當盡己所能扮演好校長的角色，常懷感恩之心，一路走來，感恩長官的提攜及同事的照顧；感恩家人的支持與鼓勵，讓我在校長之路「全力以赴」。
