This morning, Liansing held a special Children's Day activity — part environmental-education hike, part local-culture lesson — under clear blue skies that were perfect for walking.
Grades 3 through 6 headed to Dongfang Park, while grade 1 visited Guangfeng Temple and grade 2 visited Dongxing Temple. All along the trail, the children's energy never let up, full of songs and laughter.

Village Chief Liu of Taifong Village kindly opened the public restroom's water supply for the day, and on the way back, warm-hearted elders offered the children drinks and snacks — turning the hike into something carried by the whole community's care.
