Today's welcome event for our new first-graders was led warmly by their two class teachers, Ms. Pei-lin and Ms. Wan-yu, and the school had planned a set of fun challenge stations. Every station cleared adds a little courage; every step taken brings a child closer to growing up.
今天的迎新活動，除了有佩琳老師、琬渝老師兩位導師親切地帶領，學校也精心規劃有趣的闖關活動。每完成一個關卡，就多一分勇氣；每踏出一步，就離成長更近一些。
The Welcome Party began with meeting class teachers and new classmates and writing a “wish card,” then moved on to a parents' meeting and a gift of books for every first-grader. Children walked through the “Gate of Cleverness” and the “Gate of Diligent Study,” and struck the Bell of Wisdom and the Drum of Courage — station by station, they found their way around their new school.
新生歡迎會，從認識班級老師、新同學開始，寫下心之祈願卡，到家長座談、小一贈書；再出聰明門、入勤學門，敲響智慧鑼和勇氣鼓。一連串的闖關，讓孩子在活動中熟悉學校環境。
With parents alongside them and teachers cheering them on, the children did wonderfully. When family and school work together, a child settles into the Huxi family easily — healthy and happy, curious and caring.
