Through this exchange, our athletes not only trained hard and gained real match experience, but also experienced a different training environment and culture firsthand — growing in skill, mindset, and perspective. Thank you to the Sports Administration's New Southbound Policy program for making it possible for our athletes to step outside Taiwan and learn alongside athletes from other countries, building international experience for the future. Thanks as well to our gracious hosts in Vietnam for their warm welcome and careful arrangements, and to every parent and athlete for their cooperation and effort. Every step outside our borders is a step of growth. Every exchange is a step toward improvement. We look forward to the next chance to create more wonderful learning together.
透過此次交流，選手們除了投入訓練、累積實戰經驗，也親身體驗不同的訓練環境與文化，在技術、觀念及視野上都有不少收穫。感謝運動部新南向政策的支持，讓選手們有機會走出臺灣，與不同國家的選手交流學習，為未來累積更多國際經驗。同時，也感謝越南接待單位的熱情接待與細心安排，感謝所有家長及選手們的配合與付出，讓本次移地訓練得以順利完成。每一次跨出國門，都是一次成長；每一次交流，都是邁向進步的重要一步。期待下一次，再創造更多精彩的學習與交流。
Congratulations to our student Go players for their standout performance at the 26th National Women's Go Open! Chen Ko-Hsin went 4-1 in the 5-dan division, taking 4th place and a NT$4,000 prize — just one tie-breaking point short of promotion to 6-dan, a genuinely impressive result. Chen Yi-En went 3-2 in the 1-dan division, her first time competing in the national women's open, and came away with valuable tournament experience. Every match is nourishment for growth — thank you to the parents who have supported these girls all along, and to the instructors for their dedicated coaching. Congratulations again to Ko-Hsin and Yi-En — we look forward to hearing more good news next time!
恭喜彰化黑嘉嘉選手在第26屆全國女子圍棋公開賽有亮眼表現！陳可馨在五段組四勝一敗，榮獲第四名，獲得獎金4000元，距離升上六段僅差輔分一分，表現相當精彩。陳以恩在初段組三勝二敗，首次挑戰全國女子公開賽，穩健發揮，累積了寶貴的比賽經驗。每一場比賽都是成長的養分，感謝家長一路以來的支持，也謝謝老師們的用心指導。再次恭喜可馨、以恩，期待下一場比賽再傳捷報！
Congratulations to our talented students whose calligraphy and paintings were selected for publication in Issue 166 of Changhua County's Smart Fruit Magazine (智慧菓)! Every brushstroke reflects the students' careful observation of everyday life and their genuine artistic talent — standing out among so many strong entries to be printed is the highest recognition of their creative ability. Huge congratulations to the students who shone in the 63rd Olympiad Mathematics Competition! In the exam hall, these students showed a level of logic and composure well beyond their years, rising to the challenge and coming away with a haul of top honours — including Golden Excellence Math King, Math Olympiad Challenge King, and multiple Gold and Bronze Excellence awards. Wang Chen-Chen and Wu Tsai-Chieh from Class 7C shared Habit 2 — "Begin with the End in Mind." Core idea: before taking action, get clear on the specific outcome and long-term value you want to achieve, and plan proactively — rather than reacting passively to whatever comes up with no goal in mind. Real-life example: before a race, the track team sets a target first. Then the work is doing what it takes to reach that target, every single day. There will inevitably be hard days, but giving up is never an option. In the end, showing up and doing the work day after day is what gets you the result you're after — that's Habit 2 at its best, lived out through sport.
七年戊班王蓁晨、吳采潔同學分享習慣2：「以終為始」（Begin with the End in Mind）。核心思維：在行動前先釐清最終要達成的具體成果與長遠價值並主動規劃，而不是在毫無目標的狀態下被動地對眼前的突發狀況或瑣事做出反應。生活實例：田徑隊在跑步前先設定一個目標。接著，就是把設定好的目標，每天都要做好。當然，難免會遇到困難的事情，但絕對不能輕易放棄，一定要堅持下去。最後，只要每天腳踏實地的完成，就一定會達成自己想要的結果；這就是習慣二「以終為始」在體育展現的最高境界。
Every morning, security guard Uncle Geng stands at the Hsinyi gate directing traffic to keep students safe. Beyond that, he takes it upon himself to pull weeds and plant roses beside the guard booth, and even painted parking guidelines on the plaza by the front gate so visitors know where to park. With Uncle Geng's help, Hsinyi's teachers and students can come and go each day with peace of mind. We're grateful to have you — thank you, Uncle Geng.
信義真是美好校園。謝謝警衛耿大哥，每天早晨，警衛耿大哥都在信義校門口指揮交通。除此之外，耿大哥還自動自發在警衛室旁幫忙除草、種玫瑰，還在校門口的廣場畫上停車的標誌，方便外賓停車。有了耿大哥的幫忙，讓信義師生孩子都能安心上下學。感恩有您，謝謝耿大哥。
Every spring, the whole Hsinyi community gathers to cheer on its graduating ninth-graders as they prepare for the national high school entrance exam. Teachers, classmates, and staff line the corridor to offer encouragement — a tradition that reminds every student they are never facing the challenge alone.
每年春天，全校師生聚在一起，為即將參加國中會考的九年級學長姐加油打氣。老師、同學、行政人員一字排開，傳遞鼓勵——這個傳統提醒每個孩子：面對挑戰，你從來不是一個人。
Every week, Principal Wang Hsin-Yi invites elementary students to her office to talk about the books they've read. She listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and lets students share their favorite characters and what they've learned — sometimes even reading a page aloud. The chats help students grow more confident, give the principal a closer look at who they are, and make reading something worth talking about.
每週，王心怡校長都會邀請國小部同學到校長室，聊聊他們讀過的書。她仔細聆聽、親切提問，讓同學分享喜歡的角色與心得，有時還會現場朗讀一小段。這段時光讓同學更有自信，也讓校長更了解每個孩子，也讓閱讀變成一件值得分享的事。
Every week at morning assembly, foreign English teacher Ronica shares a piece of her home country, the Philippines — its food, clothing, and holidays. Students from different classes take turns as interpreters, translating her words into Chinese for the whole school. It's a weekly reminder that learning English also means learning about the world.
每週朝會，外師 Ronica 老師都會分享她的家鄉菲律賓的傳統文化，包括美食、服裝與節日，並由各班同學輪流擔任口譯員，把她的話翻譯成中文給全校聽。這項活動讓同學在學英文的同時，也認識了不同國家的文化。
As part of this semester's English curriculum, Hsinyi English Reading & Art, junior high students worked with Ms. Nancy and foreign teacher Ronica to explore the beauty of Taiwan. Students gave short presentations in English about local culture — food, landmarks, and traditions — some even adding their own drawings. The project helped them understand their hometown better while building confidence in English.
本學期英語校訂課程「信義英閱繪」由 Nancy 老師與外師 Ronica 帶領，國中部同學用英文介紹家鄉臺灣的文化特色，例如美食、景點與傳統活動，有些同學還加上自己的插畫。這個活動讓同學更認識家鄉，也練習了用英語表達的能力。
To help teachers bring international education into their classrooms, the Academic Affairs Office invited Ms. Wei, a director from Dacun Elementary School, to share her experience during a Wednesday-afternoon session. Ms. Wei walked through real examples of how her school planned and ran international education programs, giving Hsinyi's teachers practical ideas to bring global topics into daily teaching.
為了推動校內的國際教育，教務處邀請大村國小魏相英主任，利用週三下午的時間分享辦理國際教育的經驗。魏主任以實際案例介紹如何規劃與執行國際教育課程，幫助信義的老師們思考如何把國際議題融入日常教學。
