At the morning assembly on September 11, the principal invited a special guest to say hello to the whole school: our foreign English teacher for this semester, Zandile Dlamini — or, as everyone at Fusing calls her, Teacher Z.

Teacher Z comes from the Kingdom of Eswatini (Umbuso weSwatini in siSwati), a country in southern Africa. Going home is a real journey: it takes more than two days — a flight to Dubai, a connecting flight to Johannesburg, and then more travel before she finally reaches her hometown.
She is thrilled to be at Fusing, especially because our school has students and coaches who love volleyball as much as she does!

So, Fusing students: if you see Teacher Z around campus, remember to say hello! And on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, you can join her for a game on the volleyball court.
Teacher Z!
