Right at the start of summer vacation, teachers Wang Chiung-hsia and Lin Ruo-ying led students on a visit to the National Palace Museum Southern Branch in Chiayi. Between the beautifully landscaped grounds, the rich collections, and blissfully cool air conditioning, it was about as good as summer vacation gets. In every special exhibit, students borrowed audio guides and listened closely, taking in five thousand years of Chinese cultural history and artistic beauty — turning a restless summer afternoon into something quieter and more thoughtful.
The trip was made possible by a Changhua County Government cultural field-trip grant, giving Fusing students the chance to experience history, culture, and art all in one place.

暑假一開始，王瓊霞老師與林若瀅老師帶領同學一起前往嘉義故宮南院進行參訪。環境優美的故宮南院，豐富的館藏，還有沁涼的冷氣，簡直是暑假裡最高級的享受。在每個特展中，同學租借了導覽機，專心仔細聆聽解說，領受中華文化五千年歷史的博大精深與文藝之美，讓原本浮躁的暑假多了一分寧靜與知識的美好。
感謝彰化縣政府「藝起來尋美」文藝參訪補助，讓福興國中的孩子們能夠到故宮南院，領受結合歷史文化與藝術美學的豐富知識。
