Autumn had arrived, but the sky over the coast was still a bright, clear blue. Fusing students and teachers traveled to the Hanbao Wetland in Fangyuan to join Rotary International District 3462's 2026–27 "Thousand-Person Beach Cleanup for a Sustainable Home" — leaving their love on the shore, and their actions for the future.
The day's message came straight from Rotary's theme for the year: Create Lasting Impact. Before heading down to the water, our students gathered under the big red-and-white tent with hundreds of other volunteers, white caps in hand, ready to get to work.
Then the real work began. Wearing gloves and carrying trash bags and buckets, students climbed across the rocks of the seawall, big and small, while the sea wind swept past a long row of wind turbines. One piece at a time, they picked up plastic bottles, old fishing nets, driftwood and everything else the tide had left behind.
Bag after bag piled up at the collection point — most of it plastic bottles that would otherwise have drifted back out to sea. And through all the climbing and carrying, the smiles never left our students' faces.
We are so proud of every one of them. What shone brightest that day was not the blue sky, and not the tall wind turbines along the coast — it was our students' sense of responsibility, and their willingness to keep giving back to the Earth.
Real impact doesn't end when the day is over. It lives on when good actions keep happening. Fusing students: loving the Earth with action, and protecting it with their own two hands.

秋意漸濃，天空依舊蔚藍，海風吹過一座座風力發電機，也吹起孩子們認真投入的身影。福興國中同學們戴上手套、提著垃圾袋與水桶，踩過大小不一的礁石，一件一件撿起海岸上的塑膠瓶、廢棄漁網、漂流物與垃圾。福興國中的孩子一起參與國際扶輪3462地區26-27年度「千人淨灘永續家園」活動，呼應國際扶輪年度精神 Create Lasting Impact－創造持恆的影響。
看著福中的孩子在陽光下認真付出，感到無比驕傲。耀眼的，不只是今天蔚藍的天空，也不只是海岸邊高聳的風車，而是孩子們願意為地球付出的那一份責任與堅持。真正的影響，不只存在今天，而是讓美好的行動持續發生。福中孩子，用行動愛地球，用雙手守護地球。
