From July 20 to 31, Dongshing students filled their summer with a joyful deep-dive into local language and culture. Guided by local-language teachers and a lineup of specially designed lessons, students got to know and appreciate local folk songs, proverbs, and sayings.
They also tried their hand at traditional crafts, from beaded bracelet DIY to fragrant glove-puppet making and hand-painted keepsakes.
Rich, locally rooted materials like these add color to everyday life. By learning to recognize and appreciate what's close to home, students take a meaningful step toward connecting with the wider world.

7/20～7/31，東興的孩子們充實又歡樂地度過了暑假。透過多位本土語文老師的指導，以及師長們專業多元的課程設計，學生認識並欣賞本土語文歌謠、俗諺、俚語，也動手體驗了串珠手鍊DIY、羅黏香布袋戲偶DIY、彩繪創作等多項傳統工藝。
本土多元的教材，豐富了生活色彩；認同並了解在地，也是積極接軌國際的第一步。
