Chingshan Elementary School had a fun activity recently. Teachers led the students to make "Red Tortoise Cakes." This is a traditional snack in Taiwan. By making the cakes themselves, students learned why this food is important in our culture.

During the class, teachers spoke Taiwanese Hokkien. This helped students learn more about their local culture in a natural way. Students did every step, from making the dough to using the molds and steaming the cakes. They were very happy to learn these skills.

The school said that "learning by doing" is the best way. It helps students remember their culture and keeps these special traditions alive for the future.
