A UNFCCC-recognized, K-16 sustainability and English education framework — designed so a school can plug it into the curriculum, clubs, and activities it already runs. From basic climate literacy in elementary classrooms to youth-led climate action at university, LCOY Taiwan turns a UN-recognized platform into a structured campus program.

「LCOY Taiwan 校園永續教育導入計畫」是一套經 UNFCCC(聯合國氣候變化綱要公約)官方青年組織 YOUNGO 認可的永續教育架構,結合英語永續教育、專題導向學習(PBL)與國際青年氣候平台。由 Youth Network(青年網)提供完整課程架構、活動設計與培訓資源,學校僅需依既有課程或活動進行整合即可導入實施。

What is LCOY? The Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) is a national-level youth climate conference officially recognized by YOUNGO, the UNFCCC's official youth constituency. Youth perspectives and climate declarations gathered at each LCOY are carried up to the global Conference of Youth (COY) and the UN climate summit (COP).

Youth Network 青年網 is the sole UNFCCC-recognized hosting team for LCOY Taiwan, working alongside PAC (People Achievement Consulting) on youth sustainability and international education exchange.

基礎啟蒙階段
  • Online or in-person lessons build basic awareness of sustainability, the environment, and climate change through everyday observation and simple expression. 透過線上或線下課程,以生活觀察與簡易表達,建立永續、環境與氣候變遷的基本認識。
  • Sustainability-themed projects tie into PE or other extracurricular activities — showing the seven core sustainability concepts apply across subjects. 結合體育或課外活動設計永續主題專題,認識永續七大概念的跨領域應用。

  • The SDGs are introduced fully in English, building an international outlook and a first understanding of environmental and climate issues. 以全英語導入聯合國永續發展目標(SDGs),培養國際視野。
  • Students form their own LCOY Taiwan learning communities or clubs, explore local issues, and develop project designs and solutions. 自主發展 LCOY Taiwan 學習社群/社團,探索在地議題並完成專題設計與解決方案。
  • Continued lessons and cross-subject projects deepen the link between the environment and daily behavior. 持續以課程與跨領域專題深化環境與日常行為的連結。

領導培育階段
  • Students learn how UN forums work — including COY31 (Antalya, Türkiye, 2026) — and, in the spirit of the MOE's overseas dream-fund program, gain real cross-border learning experience. 認識聯合國國際論壇機制(含 2026 COY31),呼應教育部「青年百億海外圓夢基金計畫」,實際出國培養國際視野。
  • Students connect the SDGs with their own interests — tech, art, business, sport, social issues — to develop a personal sustainability action idea. 將 SDGs 與個人興趣(科技/藝術/商業/運動/社會議題)結合,發展具個人特色的永續行動構想。
  • Students found and lead LCOY Taiwan clubs, taking on real organizing roles and building youth leadership and public communication skills. 獨立創辦並帶領 LCOY Taiwan 社團,承擔推廣與組織角色,培養青年領導與公共溝通能力。

  • After workshop training, students run university-level LCOY Taiwan climate workshops, draft a youth climate report, and submit policy recommendations to local government. 完成工作坊培訓後,舉辦大學層級氣候行動工作坊,彙整青年氣候報告書並提交地方政府參考。
  • Multiple international exchange and on-site opportunities — including COY31 — build global citizenship and international action capacity. 透過多元國際交流與實地參與(含 COY31)培養全球公民素養與國際行動能力。
  • Internship matching and industry-academia links with ESG organizations, integrated with the university's USR office. 串連企業及 ESG 機構,透過實習媒合與產學合作,結合大學 USR(大學社會責任)資源。
