Summer Fun Program 暑期樂活營 · 一週密集雙語

When the school year ends, English doesn't have to. A one-week summer camp built around games, crafts, and sports — all in light English — gives students 25 hours of bilingual time per year. Better still: students sign up voluntarily.

學年結束，英文不必跟著放假。一週暑期營以遊戲、手作、運動為主軸，全程以輕鬆英文進行，能為學生每年多累積 25 小時的雙語時間。重點是：學生自願報名。

Activity 01

Daily Camp Schedule · 每日營隊作息

從上午到下午的雙語節奏

What it is · 做法

A consistent daily schedule is half the camp. Morning briefing in English, four rotating activity blocks, lunch, two more blocks, closing circle. Repeat for 5 days.

穩定的每日作息就是營隊的一半。早晨英文集合 → 4 個輪替活動 → 午餐 → 2 個活動 → 結業圈圈。5 天循環。

Use 'Day One,' 'Day Two,' 'Day Three' rather than dates — feels more like camp and easier for English. By Day Five, students will count down on their own.

Activity 02

Activity Buckets · 活動分類

四種主題，輪流上場

What it is · 做法

Four activity buckets cover camp without exhausting any teacher: SPORTS (outdoor games), CRAFTS (art and making), SCIENCE (simple experiments), DRAMA (skits and storytelling). Each bucket has 5 prepped activities — one per day.

四種活動分類就足以涵蓋一整週、不操爆任何老師：運動（戶外遊戲）、手作（藝術與動手做）、科學（簡單實驗）、戲劇（短劇與說故事）。每類預備 5 個活動——每日一個。

Stagger the four stations so no two are loud at the same time. Sports outside, drama in the gym, crafts in the cafeteria, science in a classroom — geography prevents overlap.

Activity 03

English-Integrated Games · 英文遊戲

What it is · 做法

Three classics that work at any skill level — Bingo (with vocabulary cards instead of numbers), Scavenger Hunt (English clues hidden around the school), Charades (act out the word the FET shows you).

三個經典遊戲，任何程度都能玩——賓果（用詞彙卡而非數字）、尋寶（藏英文線索在校園各處）、比手畫腳（外師給字，學生比劃，全組猜）。

Charades is the highest-leverage English game in camp — total physical commitment unlocks vocabulary even shy kids will shout. Mix in 2-3 rounds every day.

Activity 04

Closing Showcase · 成果發表

最後一天的舞台

What it is · 做法

On Day 5, each group performs a 3-minute skit they wrote together. Parents are invited. The skit doesn't need to be polished — bumbling through it together is the achievement.

第五天，每組演一齣 3 分鐘自編短劇，邀家長到場觀賞。短劇不必精緻——能一起跌跌撞撞演完，就是成就。

Record every group's performance and share the videos with parents via QR code. The video becomes the family memento — and shows up at the kid's wedding twenty years later.

Activity 05

Parent Reception · 家長迎接

結業時的家長英文

What it is · 做法

After the showcase, a 30-minute parent reception. Each camper introduces their parents to one teacher in English ('This is my mom. This is Teacher Sarah.'). A 2-sentence ceremony bridges school and home.

成果發表後，30 分鐘的家長交流。每位營員用英文把家長介紹給一位老師：「這是我媽媽。這是 Sarah 老師。」兩句話的儀式，連結學校與家庭。

Give parents a printed bilingual 'phrases for tonight' card when they arrive — five short English sentences they can use with the FET. Adult anxiety drops; parent-teacher relationship deepens.
